Nishanth- Silicon Valley Visit

Accenture Innovation Jockey Contest

Nishanth, an ECE student of Sona College of Technology was awarded the First Prize in the National Innovation Excellence Competition organised by Accenture in which more than 6000 students from India's leading Technical Institutions including the IITs and NITs participated. The prize includes a visit to Accenture's Research facility in Silicon Valley, USA.

Mr.Nishanth visited the Accenture Technology Labs located at the Silicon Valley in USA.  He had an opportunity to interact with Dr. Prith Banerjee, the Managing Director of Global Technology R&D at Accenture Technology Labs.  Later on he was invited for their Inspirational Speaker Series held at Accenture by Dr.James Doty. The post lunch session was a tour within the Labs watching various new technologies such as Google Glass, Baxtor's learning Robot, Flying pipe leak detector, Moving Boss, 3D visualization, 3D Printing, Disaster analysis software and many more. He also had discussions with Ms.Pramila Mullan and Mr.Taurean Dyer, Technologist working on domains of Electronics and Image Processing for a collaboration of Sona with Accenture Technology Labs.   At the end of the day, Nishanth was allowed to walk through the entire lab for any workings on the available facility. It was really an enchanting experience at Accenture Technology Labs, Silicon Valley, which kindled a lot of technical ideas and knowledge in Engineering.
